FAQ

1. What are the office hours?

From 7am to 10pm, 6am to 10pm in high season, i.e. from May to October. Pick-up or return of the car outside these hours is possible for a fee of 35 Euro.

2. How does the COMFORT tariff work?

Delivery (pick-up)

  • In the airport car park will be waiting for our shuttle bus that will take them to our offices. This service is permanent so there are hardly any waiting times.
  • The courtesy bus schedule is 07: 00h to 22: 00h (For drop off from May to October 6.00h to 22.00h). We do deliveries and drop offs out of time, after 10pm, applying a charge of € 35.00 for this service.

Return (drop-off)

To return the car, customers will only have to park the car outside our offices where they will pick up the Shuttle service to the airport.

  • The vehicle must be returned to the same office where it was picked up by the time agreed upon in the contract.
  • We allow a grace period of 59 minutes, starting at the pick up time in the rental agreement. After this time, you will be charged for an extra day.
  • Vehicles may be returned to a different office from where they were picked up for a € 50 surcharge.
  • No refunds are made once rental has started.

3. How does the PREMIUM tariff work?

Delivery (pick-up)

  • Staff from Autos Menorca will be waiting for the customer in the Meeting point in the airport's public parking in front of the arrivals terminal (passing the ticket machine) where they will deliver the car.
  • Autos Menorca staff will have the rental agreement ready and customer will only have to sign. We will also provide the customer with the parking ticket and key of the car. Parking cost will be covered by Autos Menorca, customers have 20 minutes to leave the car park
  • Hours for the Menorca Airport service are 7.00 a.m.-10.00 p.m. Car pick-ups and drop offs after 10.00 p.m.are considered outside office hours and a €35 fee will be charged for this service.

Return (drop-off)

  • The customer just has to return the car in the same car park where they picked up it (P1 arrivals car park). The staff from Autos Menorca will be waiting for them to collect the car. As customers have to bring back the car full they will just have to give us the key & go.
  • The vehicle must be returned to the same office where it was picked up by the time agreed upon in the contract.
  • We allow a grace period of 59 minutes starting at the pickup hour in the rental agreement. After this time, you will be charged for an extra day.
  • Vehicles may be returned to a different office from where they were picked up for a € 50 surcharge.
  • No refunds are made once rental has started.

4. What are the cancellation conditions?

  • You can cancel your reservation with a minimum of 3 hours before the pick-up date and time. The total amount paid will be refunded.
  • Failure to remove the vehicle on the agreed date and time, and / or cannot provide us with the necessary documentation, and / or do not have a credit card with sufficient funds, we reserve the right not to deliver the vehicle. If that is the case: We pledge to return the amount paid minus the cost equivalent to 2-day rental

5. What is the fuel policy?

  • Our prices do not include fuel.
  • The cars are delivered FULL of fuel. Only the missing fuel will be charged in case that the vehicle is not returned as the same level as it was delivered.
  • Please note that due to logistical reasons, fuel prices can be higher that of the petrol station.

6. Can another person drive the car?

Yes, but it must be stated in the contract.

7. Do I have to clean the car?

You should hand over the car in the condition in which you received it.

8. Can I take my car on the ferry?

No, such behaviour will be fined.

9. Are there any car seats available?

Yes they are, different sizes, price 7 Euro per day per piece, but maximum 50 Euro per rental.

10. Is there a mileage limit?

Mileage is not limited.
